The Continuity Scholars Program

Supporting the next generation of AI talent who care as much about human values as technical capability.

Future Initiative — Coming Soon

What Is the Continuity Scholars Program?

The Continuity Scholars Program will support talented students and researchers pursuing artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer science — with a focus on responsible AI. Recipients won’t be selected on technical merit alone, but on a demonstrated interest in AI ethics, safety, and human-centred design.

The goal isn’t simply to fund promising students — it’s to help shape the generation that will build the systems the world is depending on to get right.

Eligibility

  • Open worldwide — no nationality restrictions
  • No age limit
  • Must be pursuing study or research in AI, machine learning, or computer science
  • Selection based on application review by HCI — not a lottery or automatic qualification

How It’s Funded

The number and size of scholarships awarded each cycle will be directly tied to funds raised through donations to HCI. Rather than promise a fixed amount before the money exists, our commitment is simple: the more support HCI receives, the more we can offer.

Timeline

This program is currently in development. Scholarship amounts and full application guidelines will be announced in January 2027.
