Partner With Us

Universities, NGOs, and government bodies propose joint work with HCI here — research partnerships, training collaborations, policy work, and funding relationships. This is a different conversation from an individual volunteering, so it gets its own form.

HCI is a young, growing organisation. We take institutional proposals seriously and read every one personally, but we don’t yet have a large partnerships staff or a formal review board — expect a direct reply from our founders, not a committee process.

Ways to collaborate

Research Partnership

Joint work on Digital DNA, AI ethics methodology, or related research questions — co-authorship, shared data work, or a formal research agreement between your institution and HCI.

Curriculum & Training

Bringing HCI’s AI ethics and governance material into a course, workshop, or training program, or co-developing new curriculum with your faculty or staff.

Policy & Government Partnership

Technical assistance, frameworks, or advisory support for a government body or public agency working on AI governance — connects with our AI for Developing Governments initiative.

Funding & Grants

Foundations, agencies, or institutional funders interested in supporting a specific HCI project or proposing a joint grant application.

Other

Something that doesn’t fit the categories above — tell us what you have in mind in the form below and we’ll figure out where it fits.

What to include in your proposal

  • Collaboration type — which of the categories above (or “Other”) best describes what you’re proposing.
  • Public-benefit objective — what public benefit this collaboration would advance. HCI is a nonprofit institute; every partnership needs a clear answer here.
  • What you’re requesting from HCI — the specific involvement, resources, or review you’re hoping we can provide, so we can tell quickly whether it’s something we’re positioned to do.

Submit a proposal

Fill out the form below and it goes straight to our founders. We reply to every proposal by email — there’s no fixed response-time guarantee yet given HCI’s size, but nothing submitted here goes unanswered.

How it works

  • Submit the proposal form above with your organisation, collaboration type, and what you’re requesting.
  • HCI’s founders review it personally against the public-benefit objective you’ve described — there’s no automated screening or standing partnerships committee yet.
  • You’ll hear back directly by email, whether the answer is yes, no, or a request for more detail.
This form only asks for what’s needed to evaluate your proposal — no identity documents or payment details. If you’d rather not use a public form, email contact@human-continuity.org directly, and you can ask at any time to correct, withdraw, or delete a submission.
Looking to get involved as an individual instead? Volunteer research, ethics review, content contribution, and general membership all have their own pathways on the Get Involved page.
